Trends in Drug Offences...
People often believe that
most teenagers smoke or have smoked marijuana but the truth is that only
1 out of 10 teens in grades 7 to 10 have smoked marijuana and 1 out of 4
teens in their last year of high school have used this drug. When
smoking marijuana you could also be endangering other peoples lives
because the amount of people driving under the influence of marijuana is
getting higher and higher. This not only endangers their life but also
the life of whoever is in the car with them. From a survey taken by
teens with their driver’s license and who smoke marijuana we found out
that 1 in 5 teens will drive while under the influence. Did you know that
each year 1.5 million teenagers use marijuana for the first time? 30% of
teens in high school smoke marijuana.
