• Government will control selling.

• Less power for the black market

• Less organized crime because the black market gangs have less power

• Streets will be safer

• People won't feel as rebellious if it is legal so they wouldn't as often

• Sick people will be able to use it for medicinal purposes

Cons:

• Kids may take advantage and get hooked

• Everyone will be dependent on cannabis just like they are on tobacco

• People would think that it isn't bad for them and won't damage their brain just because its legal

• The next generation will all be born with birth defects due to chronic cannabis use
